Jeff Layman was appointed permanent Town Administrator in 2018, following his tenure as interim Town Administrator for approximately six months.  Jeff was most recently the manager of the Eagle-Vail Metro District, and has also been a police chief in the Town of Eagle, as well as an Eagle County Undersheriff for many years.  Jeff has a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.  Jeff is eager to speak with any citizen, business owner, or concerned individual.  Please do not hesitate to call him at (970) 876-2353 Ext. 103, or email him at jlayman@townofsilt.org.
