Gerry Pace
Gerry Pace has been the Public Works Director for the Town of Silt since 2002. Gerry came to the town after spending 18 years as the Public Works Director at the Town of Basalt. He is a Class B Water Operator with the State of Colorado, and holds a Class II Water Distribution Certification. Gerry has been involved with numerous projects including the Town of Silt Water and Wastewater plants, the Town of Basalt Water Filtration Plant, skate park design and construction, the Midland Avenue Improvement project, and both the Silt and Basalt roundabouts. Gerry also worked as the Building Official for the Town of Basalt for 8 years.
Gerry and his public works staff are responsible for the following:
* Irrigation System - Maintenance and repair, pumps, pump houses and irrigation tanks
* Bulk Water Machines - Maintenance and repair
* Streets - Maintenance and repair, street sweeping, snow plowing and removal|
* Parks - Mowing and sprinkler systems
* Playground safety and inspections
* Skyline Cemetery maintenance
* Tree maintenance
