Janet Aluise

Janet has been with the Town of Silt since March 2011, although she previously worked for the Town from 2000 to 2007.  She currently holds the position of Community Development Director.  Janet has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Environmental, Populational and Organismal Biology (1995).  The Planner is responsible for reviewing all land use applications in accordance with the Town's adopted Comprehensive Plan and the Silt Municipal Code.  She also assists the public with miscellaneous permits, such as special event vendor permits, sponsor permits and volunteer activities, as well as general and specific planning questions.  She renders recommendations to the Public Works Director, the Town Administrator, the Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Board of Trustees.  The Planner is also responsible for administering the Town's recreation events and special events, the Town's property/casualty insurance and writing grants.  If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact Janet at jaluise@townofsilt.org or at 876-2353.
